Flower Mound Foreclosures

The Flower Mound foreclosures segment of the Flower Mound real estate market remains relatively small.  Year to date (October 17, 2009), there have been a total of 798 Flower Mound MLS listings that have sold.  Of the 798 Flower Mound homes that have sold since the first of the year, only forty-six  (46) of those MLS listings have been foreclosures.

The Flower Mound real estate market has remained much stronger than many of the other Dallas-Fort Worth suburban home markets.  The number of Flower Mound foreclosures has increased in size by almost 1/3  year to date 2009 compared to the same time in year 2008.  The Flower Mound  foreclosures number for the first 9 1/2 months of 2009 stands at forty-six (46), while during the same time from of 2008, the number of foreclosures sold in Flower Mound counted thirty-four (34).

Additionally, the number of Flower Mound foreclosures currently on the market is very small.  At the present time, the Flower Mound foreclosure real estate market consists of sixteen (16) foreclosed properties on the market, of which only one-half or eight (8) do not already have contracts on them.  The link below contains the current inventory of Flower Mound foreclosures:
